Promotions Director
100.3 The Beat/Hallelujah AM 1600

Specific responsibilities include:
•    Develop and oversee all promotional and contest initiatives of 100.3 The Beat/KMJM-FM and Hallelujah AM 1600/KATZ-FM
•    Directly supervise employees in the promotions department including, but not limited to, hiring, training, disciplining and appraising performance.
•    Conceptualize and supervise community engagement initiatives, including public service campaigns, announcements, pledge drives/events, and long-form programming.
•    Assist clients and sales department with creative solutions to maximize results for advertising campaigns.
•    Write and create on-air promotional announcements.
•    Plan and develop station promotions.
•    Administer the company’s new media marketing platform, including online and mobile marketing initiatives.
•    Supervise stations’ contests, including originating or adapting ideas, arranging prizes and listener events.
•    Contribute creative ideas toward the stations’ goals of connecting with desired target audience segments including external marketing.
•    Maintain accurate records of contestants and ensure contests are conducted in accordance with FCC regulations and laws.
•    Represent station(s) at community events and promotions.
•    Coordinate activities of other departments involved in production of promotions and broadcast remotes.
•    Maintain stations’ prize closets, inventory of stations’ premiums, and inventory and control of stations’ banners.
•    Coordinate all prizes and winners, and make sure prizes are available for front desk distribution.
•    Responsible for all release forms to ensure 1099’s are in order for distribution.


Requirements:
•    College degree in Communications or Marketing preferred, but not required.
•    Minimum two years experience in broadcast marketing, public relations or related field.
•    Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations related to broadcast marketing preferred, but not required.
•    Ability to work under tight deadlines; handle stress and related pressures.
•    Ability to work weekends, early mornings and evenings as required.

Part-time Promotion Coordinators

Z107-7, 93.7 The Bull, 100.3 The Beat, 103.3 KLOU, Louie 103.7, WiLD 104.9, and Hallelujah AM 1600 have an immediate need for Part-time Promotions Coordinators!

Required Skills:
•    Part-time coordinators typically work 15-25 hours per week (dependent upon season)
•    Mostly afternoons, weeknights and weekends (must be able to work nights and weekends regularly)
•    Responsibilities include: executing station promotional and client events, brand management, event set up and partial planning
•    Must be detail oriented, pay attention to detail, and capable of handling numerous tasks simultaneously
•    Good organizational skills, good people skills, and good communication skills are necessary
•    Must be responsible and accountable for performance
•    Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
•    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record needed
•    Open availability needed

Required Experience:
•    Experience in broadcast marketing, PR or related field is preferred
